Snake River Overlook

The Grand Tetons in Wyoming are certainly one of the most photographed and beautiful parks in the United States.  In 1942, Ansel Adams photographed this scene and it was one of his best.  At that time the trees were not as grown up as now and one could see the bend in the Snake river.  What I like about this image is the effect of the smoke from forest fires near by and the color of the fall leaves at sunset.
